ABOUT ME
Hi there, I'm glad you stopped by. My name is Tenile. I'm a clinical psychologist, working in private practice in Brisbane.
My aim is to help people work through their experiences of the past and the present, in order to create space for enriched relationships with themselves and with others. I'm deeply committed to my work, and place a strong emphasis on providing my clients with a safe, empathic and reflective presence during therapy.
I'm a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), an Associate Member of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists, and a Member of the APS Psychoanalytically-Oriented Psychologists Interest Group (POPIG).
EDUCATION
I obtained the following qualifications at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT):

EXPERIENCE
I have clinical experience with assessment and treatment of a range of psychological conditions in various settings including university clinics, private mental health hospitals and public hospitals. I have experience with a number of therapeutic approaches such as psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy and motivational interviewing. I have worked with adults, children and geriatric clients who are experiencing both clinical and non-clinical psychological difficulties.
